World Lung Cancer Day, Lung cancer continues to be one of the most common cancers worldwide, claiming more lives yearly than breast, colon and prostate cancers combined. It is estimated that lung cancer accounts for nearly one in five cancer deaths globally.
Lung cancer is also one of the most common work-related cancers, caused by exposure to dangerous carcinogens such as asbestos, silica dust and diesel fumes. However, it can be prevented by putting in place measures to control exposure at work.
To show our support the Mahoney’s Team took part in a 20 mile Bike Ride, Proceeds from the charity Bike Ride were donated to the No Time To Lose Charity. Congratulations to everyone involved!
