As a member and supporter of Mates in Mind, Mahoney Contracts actively look at our approaches on how to minimise these shocking figures, and explore ways to help our staff stay mentally healthy and engaged.
We have already taken the step of ensuring all our management team are now Mental Health First Aiders, enabling them to understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
Our next step is to look into further mental health programmes, to help get our people thinking, talking and addressing the stigma surrounding mental health and well-being.
